BAMBI Dental compressor parts: to ensure service
It is a
good idea to keep up to date with BAMBI dental compressor parts. The compressors used in dentistry seem silent, clean and
vibration free and perfectly designed for a sterile environment. Their discreet presence just might leave you
believing they will never go wrong. However,
even dental compressors break down and need dental compressor parts. Cylinders, coils, springs, filters,
pumps and the many different parts that
form the dental compressor need replacement at some point; and if you need any
persuasion then cast your eye around the dental surgery and look at all the
parts you will see. Clean white tops,
sterile trays, metal bowls, the dental chair, the articulated robotic equipment
with cable and a variety of implements: extraction tools, drills, scale
removers, to name a few. All parts which
make up the effective dental clinician’s practice, at least on the surface. Dental
compressor parts no less contribute to the complete dental practice and
have a more fundamental role to play. No amount of shiny bright dental
accoutrements and sparkling tools will do much of a job if the dental
compressor fails to function.
Check out
our manuals on this website or give us a call and we will help you with dental compressor parts to suit your
needs.

Vertical compressor: straight up.
Vertical
compressor: straight up.
There is
so much about a vertical compressor
that is straight up that a proverbial book could be written. Like
many tall things the advantages of height rather than breadth are
manifold. In the workplace the benefits
of space saving ramify on many work issues, such as budget, personnel and
quality of environment, for the better. Wherever you need a stationary unit the
vertical compressor will probably
fulfil that need amply. Install this
compressor and fix it in place and you
have health and safety benefits that a movable compressor won’t give you.
At 8 feet
and 5 inches Suleiman Ali Nashnush of Libya was possibly the tallest ever
basketball player and his team reaped the benefits of his bird’s eye view on
the game and his ability to lot through the net almost without effort. Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the world’s tallest
building at 2,723 feet high and it reaches into the Middle-Eastern skyline
dwarfing other buildings previously considered tall. Its benefits for the
Middle-East, vastly different to those of the vertical compressor, lie within attracting investments and tourists
to the area. The Giant Redwood tree of North America grows to over 350 feet
tall allowing it to survey imperially its surroundings over it other forest
cousins.
The vertical compressor can survey its
surroundings but more importantly it will stay in a fixed position and enable
the work to be planned around it.

Air Compressor Displacement
Many compressors use feedback control systems to either throttle the amount of intake air supplied to the compressor (known as modulating system control or throttling), or to reduce the compressor displacement/speed to accommodate for system load ( known as variable displacement/variable speed control, respectively).
These optional control systems can save energy costs by responding in real time to the needs of the system. For example, if a compressed air flow of 100 SCFM at 80 PSIG is required for 2 hours of the workday and after this initial use only 50 SCFM at 80 PSIG is required, a variable speed compressor can accommodate for this change by adjusting the speed of the electric motor driving the compressor. In this example the motor speed will lessen and the required electrical demand to product the required compressed air will lessen as well. All the while, maintaining adequate compressed air pressure and flow.

Dental compressor parts: for the healthy at heart
Those with
a zest for life, always keeping fit and eating healthy whole foods, fresh
produce and lean meat and fish, will appreciate just what part quality dental compressor parts play in the
whole health scenario. Eating well, not necessarily organic food - but plenty
of wholesome fruit and vegetables, and very little armful fats and sugar to
attack us – is key to our good health and possibly long life, we hope. They say a healthy body leads to a healthy
mind, or maybe it’s vice versa – a healthy mind leads to a healthy body – but
one thing is for sure and that is that as long as we are applying the same
health principles to our teeth then we will have healthy mouths, gums and dentures.
Regular brushing, flossing, and mouth-washing should keep our teeth in
reasonable condition.
Regular
visits to the dentist will help us maintain this oral health that we so need.
Nothing is worse than seeing someone give a beautiful wide smile and display a
set of decaying enamels. But if you go to a dentist whose technician hasn’t
bothered to keep the bambi compressor equipment maintained and ready for the job in
hand (or mouth) by ensuring the correct dental
compressor parts are fitted, then all you good healthy habits will be for
nothing.
For good
dental services you need good dental compressors and equally good dental compressor parts.

Will Filling Tires With Nitrogen Save You Money?
If you've visited a tire shop or taken in your car for service at the dealer lately, you've probably been asked if you wanted your tires filled with nitrogen and wondered if it was just a way for the shop to get a few extra bucks. At first glance, it seems like the small cost -- usually about $5 per tire -- is worth it for the benefits of nitrogen, but as it is with many things, there is more to it than meets the eye. There are two issues with inflating tires with compressed air. The first is that all compressed air contains some water, which can be a very minor vapor or as substantial as actual water droplets. Water vapor or water droplets cause a larger change in tire pressure as the temperature of the tire changes. That causes additional wear and tear on the tire. Tire temperature changes not only from air temperature, but also from friction when the car is driven.
The second issue is that air penetrates through the tire's rubber more quickly than nitrogen, so the tire deflates more quickly, resulting in underinflated tires. This reduces fuel economy and handling and results in more wear. It can also lead to blowouts.
How you inflate your tires can impact your wallet, causing you to spend more money on gas and making you replace your tires sooner than you would like.
Tire shops and car dealers with nitrogen tyre inflators machines use these facts to help sell the nitrogen replacement. What they neglect to mention is that all tires are going to leak, whether they are filled with compressed air or nitrogen. Tests by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Consumer Reports found that nitrogen-filled tires lost about one-third less pressure than the same tires filled with compressed air over the same time period.
While nitrogen escapes from tires more slowly and results in less dramatic tire pressure changes during driving, its benefits of improved fuel economy and slower wear only apply if the tires are properly inflated. And those benefits are identical with compressed air if the tires are properly inflated.
Just the same, filling your car tires with nitrogen may make good financial sense for some car owners. According to numerous studies, most Americans are driving cars with underinflated tires, which means they already are experiencing reduced fuel economy, greater tire wear and increased risk of a blowout. For these people, replacing the compressed air with nitrogen means their tires will stay properly inflated for longer, in theory saving them money.
Car owners still will need to check their tire pressure and refill their tires regularly in order to get the benefits. And they'll need to continue to refill with nitrogen. From this perspective, it's just as easy to create a reminder to check your tire pressure once a month and refill with a quality compressed-air source -- one without visible moisture when you depress the inflation nozzle with your finger -- for free or for a few quarters.
For those who decide to fill their tires with nitrogen, look for a service that provides free fill-ups, and make a note to visit that shop regularly to have your tire pressure tested to get the maximum benefits.

BAMBI compressor accessories: for an easier job
Just as in many other task based
environments, the compression industry boasts a range of BAMBI compressor accessories to help with any given task. Some are
essential to the health and safety needs of those working in the sector and
others are rather more cosmetic than crucial.
When working in the garden, the
basic tools to carry out the task successfully are a spade, possibly a fork, a lawn mower, a
strimmer, and a hedge clipper. It would
however be so much nicer if we had a good pair of gardening gloves to protect
our hands and a firm but spongy knee pad to kneel on. These latter items would be the BAMBI compressor accessories of the gardening
world, making the job easier and safer.
Tinkering with the car to fix
those small problems is relatively easy with the right tools to hand; however it
would be so much cleaner if you had a good pair of overalls. Fashioning molten steel is rendered safer
through the use of protective goggles, and working on large constructions under
stratas of scaffolding is made safer by wearing a helmet. So too in the body
repair chop, the tyre fit place, the construction yard, and anywhere that air
compressors are in use, BAMBI compressor
accessories will aid work, and mitigate accidents and illness. Overalls,
helmets, goggles, safety covers, lids, gloves and many more are all sensible BAMBI compressor accessories that you may
choose.

Co-operative Bank’s Pyramid swaps to green compressed air power backup
Co-operative Bank’s Pyramid swaps to green power backup
A landmark bank building today became the first in the world to use an innovative green power system.
The Co-operative Bank’s Pyramid building, in Stockport, has had a compressed air electricity system installed to provide its backup power.
It replaces the previous set-up, which used scores of lead acid batteries.
The new system, called Air-DRUPS, cuts in as soon as the mains power is lost and is driven by compressed air to provide an emergency supply of electricity for a few seconds until the backup generator kicks in.
The generators forming the heart of the system are designed and made by Pnu Power, part of the AIM-listed Energetix Group, based in Chester.
Martyn Hulme, managing director of Co-operative Estates, said: “At The Co-operative we are always looking at ways in which we can reduce our carbon footprint and so when our uninterruptible power supply was up for renewal we wanted to find a greener system that would make the lead acid batteries obsolete.
“This is the first time this compressed air system has been used in this way and we are confident that others will follow our lead.”
Energetix says a typical 2MW data centre could save more than £1.75m of electricity and cut CO2 emissions by more than 90 per cent over its 20 year lifespan, compared with a typical rotary system.

Bambi Compressors in the summer heat!
This summer is already proving to be excessively hot and will continue for the next few months. Even though the summer heat is only a few months of the year, this is a critical time to sustain productivity.
It’s time to make sure your compressed air system is prepared to take on the hot temperatures without shutting down or increasing energy costs.
Is your bambi silent compressor compressed air system ready for the summer heat?
To keep your system running smoothly, we've created 5 Tips to Beat the Heat to see if you're prepared.
1. Check Ventilation:
Often overlooked, the ventilation of the room where your system is stored should be checked and adjusted accordingly. This will ensure sufficient air flow throughout the room. Hot air blowing out of the compressor's cooler could not have an easy way to escape from the room, so much of the hot air could be sucked backed in the inlet end of the machine.
2. Change Filters:
Dirty filters can cause pressure drops and higher temperatures, which the machine must overcompensate for. The compressor will run cooler and use less energy if the air and oil filters are clean.
3. Check Drains:
Hot humid compressed air creates condensate that can leak into your airlines if not drained regularly. Drains must be properly checked to ensure they can handle the extra condensate/moisture load that the summer heat can produce.
4. Clean Coolers:
Protecting downstream equipment from overheating and reducing moisture content is the function of a cooler. Blocked or clogged heat exchangers can cause the compressor to overheat on hot summer days. Be sure to clean all coolers regularly before it overheats.
5. Adjust Water Cooling:
On water-cooled units, maintain the temperature/flow/pressure/quality of water entering the cooler to achieve lower operating temperatures during the summer months. The cooler the air before entering the system, the more efficiently it operates during hot humid months.
When your compressors draw in hot, humid air they need to be in good condition and the maintenance kept up. Inadequate maintenance can increase energy consumption due to lower compression efficiency, air leakage or pressure drops. Poor maintenance can also lead to high operating temperatures, poor moisture control, excessive contamination, and unsafe working environments. Be sure to top-off lubricant levels or change the oil when the lubricant is nearing the end of its life. Low levels of lubricant can create higher temperatures that can consume energy. Generally, each of these starts as a minor issue, but can accumulate into a larger issue if undetected and untreated. Hot weather exasperates the problems.
We pride ourselves on being efficient and knowledgeable in compressed air systems, from the initial inlet point, to the outlet point and everything in between. We know that preventative maintenance is key to running an efficient compressed air system.

Air Compressor Buying Guide : eBay Guides
If you're thinking about buying an air compressor, there are several important factors to consider. If you want to be happy with your purchase, and get the performance you need, you should make sure you look at each one carefully. I will assume that you are buying either a gas powered compressor or one that is powered by 110/220 household electricity, not one of the 12-volt models powered by your car's cigarette lighter (they're good to air up a tire if you have plenty of time to wait).
- Gas Powered vs. Electric - A gas powered air compressor can be very handy, reliable and powerful. And, you're not tied down to an electrical outlet. The down side is that a gas compressor is going to be pretty expensive and will have to be vented in a closed area. Electric compressors are very convenient for shop use, and good ones are very reliable, but some household electrical systems will have problems handling the amperage draw of a even a large 110v compressor, and to have a 220v model you might have to do some extensive electrical work. Electric is best for your home garage unless your electrical system can't handle it, or you come across a great deal on a gas compressor.
- Oil-Free vs. Oiled - An oil-free compressor (sometimes advertised as Maintenance-Free) is designed for people who know little about tools and machinery and don't have much interest in learning more - it will last longer than an oiled model that has been neglected, but that is about it's only advantage. An oiled model is usually much quieter, more reliable and lasts longer. If you use a high grade synthetic pump oil, those advantages will be even greater, and you won't have to change the oil very often. And no compressor is maintenance free, you need to at least drain any accumulated water out of the tank occasionally. If you want the best, get an oiled model.
- How much Horsepower? - It really doesn't matter how much horsepower a compressor has as long as it meets your airflow requirements, which is a combined function of the power and efficiency of the compressor and the capacity of the air pump. About 2HP should be fine for any home compressor if it has enough airflow to fulfill your requirements.
- How much PSI? - Again, unless all you to do is air up some big tires, Air Flow is the important factor. As long as you get a compressor that can supply 125 or 150 PSI, you'll be prepared for anything that comes along.
- How much Airflow? - Here's where you really need to figure out exactly what you may possibly be using this compressor for in the future. If you are going to ever use any air tools, such as a half inch impact wrench or air ratchet, then you will need 6.0 SCFM at 90 PSI - memorize that, 6.0 SCFM at 90 PSI. Even that may not suffice for full time use of an air impact hammer. Other tools such as paint sprayers operate at 40 PSI, but the 90 PSI figure is key, it's the most important thing to consider to make sure you get a compressor that will provide the performance you need. If you just want to air up tires or other inflatables, or do things that require only intermittent use of the compressor, you don't need nearly as much SCFM.
- Tank Size? - For home auto technicians that foresee themselves using air tools, you need a big tank. 20 gallons would be a starting point, but 30 would probably be about ideal for most home mechanics. For airing up tires, one of the smaller "hot dog" or "pancake" style tanks is fine as long as the compressor provides 125 PSI.
SUMMARY - If you want a good home shop compressor and use air tools, spend about $300 on a 6.0 SCFM or higher compressor with 30 gallon tank. If you're not a mechanic and just want to air up tires, don't waste your money, get one of the smaller 2 gallon models.
